For Sabatelli, fly fishing is more than a pursuit—it’s a way to reflect, to slow down, and to better understand the world within and around us. Through quiet time on the water and the introspection that follows, he explores identity, meaning, and the role water plays in shaping both.
Whether describing the power of bluefish, the solitude of canoeing into remote waters, the intersection of fly fishing and quantum physics, or the way fishing memories hold personal loss, these essays capture the depth, mystery, and beauty at the heart of the sport.
This collection invites readers to see the world more fully—especially the waters that cover two-thirds of our planet. 5.5 x 8.5 inches. 184 pages.
“A vibrant, smart, and essential new voice. These essays are engaging and magical.”
— Nick Lyons
