From crystal-clear chalk streams to saltwater flats, remote jungles, and high mountain rivers, this collection captures the flavors and stories of fly fishing adventures around the world. Fly fishing is ultimately less about the fish and more about the experience—the remarkable places and the people you meet along the way. A central part of destination angling is the gathering that follows a day on the water, often centered around local food and drink.
In this beautifully produced book, twenty unforgettable destinations are paired with striking photography and personal stories from the water. Each chapter concludes with recipes inspired by the region, ranging from appetizers to main dishes, drinks, and desserts. From fresh salmon and wild mushroom tarts in Normandy to baked halibut with wild berry glaze in Alaska, and fish tacos with shrimp guacamole from Baja California, the recipes bring the spirit of each place to life.
Whether you are a seasoned traveling angler, someone dreaming about their first big trip, or simply a lover of great stories and beautiful books, this collection celebrates the joy of fly fishing and the culture that surrounds it. Full color. 10 x 8 inches. 384 pages.

“A masterwork for the traveling angler and the discerning epicurean, this book beautifully merges two passions. While fishing may lead the way, it’s the culture, cuisine, and journey that make the adventure unforgettable.”
