"Small Batch Flies" | Hand-Tied Flies, Unmatched Quality
Chernobyl Caddis (Brown)
The brown version of the Chernobyl Caddis is an excellent attractor Caddis pattern for Grannom Caddis hatches. This pattern was inspired by the Palomino and bubble Caddis, and with both foam and deer hair this fly will float for days. The folded foam body gives it a profile that is hard to beat and the pearl mylar tinsel butt section has a thin layer of UV resin to add durability and give the right amount of sparkle to grab the attention of those picky trout.
Great fished as a single fly dead drift or skittered across the water. It is also an excellent fly to hang a heavy dropper off of.
Available in 3 packs and in sizes 12 or 8.

Kyle Ludwig was introduced into the fly fishing world back in 2018 when his cousin Dan Lato let him borrow his 4wt and a box of flies for a summer. After the first trip out, he was hooked. Later that fall Dan invited him on a trip to the Current River and that’s where Kyle was introduced to tying flies.
Thousands of flies and two years later, Ludwig Outdoors was born. Kyle mostly ties and offers flies for trout, bass and panfish. His goal is to provide the highest quality and most durable flies to customers, and for his customers to have great confidence when they tie on one of his flies. He loves that he can provide something so small, but yet put such a big smile on someone’s face when they net that fish of a lifetime. He hopes to one day expand the business to help future generations appreciate our beautiful lakes, rivers, and streams.
Ludwig Outdoors has a simple mission: “To encourage, educate, and inspire future generations to explore and protect the natural world.”
